Hi, everyone, welcome to ‘A Phrasal Verb a Day’. Here is another phrasal verb for you. This is going to be a really quick one. This one is to plan ahead. Plan ahead. Plan and then a-h-e-a-d. Okay. Plan ahead. Not plan a head. Not, sort of, plan to made a head out of something. No. But plan ahead meaning, sort of, plan into the future.
This basically means to think carefully about what is going to happen in the future and then prepare for it. Okay. So you might say, you know, if you going to start a business, it’s a good idea to plan ahead in order to be prepared for what is going to come. Okay, so, yeah, if you going to do a project or start something, you need to plan ahead. Okay. You need to be more organized and just plan ahead a little bit. If you’re studying for an exam, you might want to, sort of, work out what which thing you need to study and exactly when the exam is, and if you plan ahead, then you’re more likely to get a decent result. Okay. So that’s the end of this episode. Thanks for listening. There’ll be a new one soon. But for now – Goodbye!
