This is the seventh episode of a mini-series entitled “Your English Podcast” or “YEP” for short, and in this episode I am going to showcase more recordings sent to me by listeners as part of a big competition. I’ve launched to celebrate the 5th birthday and 200 episodes of LEP. All the details of this competition are in episode 200 so you might like to listen to that one first if you haven’t already. Also, before I play you this set of competition entries I’m going to give you some information, rules and guidelines about the voting process. Click here to read those rules and guidelines.

I would like to vote for Sasha from Russia.
I vote for Sasha from Russia. He’s nice) As for Sergey’s offer to guess what country he was from, it was not of great difficulty for me. Not because of his good accent, but because of his name, haha)) I;m from Russia and Sergey is a Russian name, guys)). Also, I strongly support the unanimous praise of Luke. Yes, Luke, you are amazing as you said yourself. Don’t be modest, you are REALLY amazing as a teacher and as a person.
I vote for Phil from Italy
sarcastic, ironic…this experience allows him to throw off his shyness. I vote for PHIL from Italy
Sasha, I find a lot of similarity between you and me:
I find Luke’s English podcast just in the last few months too.
I usually listen to LEP in my way to work & back too.
I also juggle between the old podcasts and the new podcasts.
And finally, from your job description, it seems that we are on the same profession.
Hi Yaron, wow it’s interesting to know that we have so much in common. I’m currently on Americanisms part 2 but I’ve listened to selected episodes from the 100 and above to get an overall impression of what was going on. How far are you? Oh, perhaps we shouldn’t start a conversation here, don’t want to make counting the votes more complex than it is.. Anyway it’s was nice to hear from you! And thanks for your vote!
I vote for Sasha from Russia.
