This is the eighth and final episode of this mini-series entitled “Your English Podcast” or “YEP” for short, and in this episode I am going to showcase more recordings sent to me by listeners as part of a big competition. I’ve launched to celebrate the 5th birthday and 200 episodes of LEP. All the details of this competition are in episode 200 so you might like to listen to that one first if you haven’t already. Also, before I play you this set of competition entries I’m going to give you some information, rules and guidelines about the voting process. Click here to read those rules and guidelines.

Alex From Russia (too late!)
Voting in the competition is now closed.
I vote for Yaron from Israel.
Many thanks.
I vote for Yuri from Brazil – I thought for a moment he was a Canadian (his accent) :-)
thnx for your vote and your feedback. to know that my accent is flowing nicely makes me glad :)
I vote for Wilkson from Brazil. He really made my day!
This message is for Yannick from Switzerland. I didn’t vote for you but I like you recording and I entirely agree with you nobody loves wars and conflicts -but- some people keep fighting for silly reasons!
That’s pity especially here in the middle east most of governments (in Arabic countries and Hebrew politicians) like to force soldiers to fight. We all hope to live in peace!
imagine most of Arabs are under age of 30

and we need a peaceful life to find good jobs and to build our countries and to be productive, most of youths go to serve and fight with the government just to earn money.
Pray for victims in Gaza, Tel-aviv, Iraq, Syria, Egypt, Tunisia and Lybia!
I vote for Yaron from Israel
Thank you Jilmani. I really appreciate the fact that you vote for me. Of course, that I also agree with the things that you wrote.
I vote for Yayang from Indonesia.
I just had finished listening to all the competition entries. It was awesome to hear all the people around the globes.
However, I realize that I didn’t add to my competition recording background music of me playing the piano, in spite that I mention in the recording that I might do so.
So, as my last promotion act, I share the following links to audio files of me playing the piano:
“One Soft Touch” / Yoni Rechter (Israeli composer)

“The great gig in the sky” / Pink Floyd

“Always look at the bright side of Life” / Monty Python

I hope you’ll enjoy it…
